Prior to co-founding ANAFLASH, Peter played pivotal roles in the nonvolatile memory and storage industry for more than 15 years. Notably, he was the founding member of the 4-bits/cell NAND flash memory controller team at Samsung Electronics, contributing to the development of the industry leading SSD product. Additionally, Peter performed a foundation research of low latency NVM based SSD and intelligent storage at HGST later acquired by Western Digital. He also served as the global enterprise SSD performance engineer, collaborating with teams in the US, Europe, and Korea at SK Hynix Memory Solutions America. His efforts contributed to the successful commercialization of enterprise-grade SSD products based on 4D-NAND flash memory.
Dr. Peter Song received a PhD degree majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering and minoring in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. He received the Best Paper Award at the 2016 IEEE International Conference on Communications and was honored as the winner of the Low Power Design Contest at the 2012 IEEE International Symposium on Low Power Electronics Design.
With nearly 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, Shahrzad specializes in mixed-signal circuits and data converters. She had demonstrated exceptional technology leadership as the CEO and co-founder of Legato Logic before joining ANAFLASH. Prior to founding Legato Logic, Shahrzad held various positions at prominent organizations including Cadence Design Systems, Cirrus Logic, IBM, Tektronix, and Nusemi—a startup that was acquired by Cadence. In addition to her industry roles, she has contributed to the academic community as an associate editor for Transactions on Circuits and Systems (TCAS-II). She has also served on the technical program committees for the Custom Integrated Circuits Conference (CICC) and is currently a member of the Technical Program Committee at the International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC).
Dr. Shahrzad Naraghi holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran, an M.Sc. from the University of Waterloo in Canada, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where she was honored as a Barbour Scholar.
